Debi Grupe is a Vancouver, B.C., Canadian, based abstract artist. Debi studied printmaking under Wayne Eastcott and painting under Nancy Boyd and Marcus Bowcott at Capilano College. She also studied industrial design at Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design.Debi’s unique work in monotype prints and paintings produces art which is effortlessly in touch with daily human emotions.
Her mixed medium and monotype works have been used on movie sets like X-Men 2 and Fantastic Four, plus various TV pilots. Her work has shown in group and solo shows at Dundarave Print Workshop Gallery and Holt Renfrew. Galleries in Australia, Kuwait and Vancouver have showcased Debi’s work to collectors around the world.
